I am building a quad from that weighs 459 grams without electronics, battery, motors, or esc.
It will carry 268 grams consisting of GoProHero3 and brushless gimbal with 10 inch props.
The person selling the frame recommends the Cobra C-2217/20 960kv, (http://www.rcdude.com/servlet/the-2031/Cobra-C-dsh-2217-fdsh-20-Brushless-Motor/Detail)
but I prefer the quality of the Tiger MT2216/11 900kv motors.
Can anyone help me determine if the performance characteristics of these two motors is pretty much the same, or are there significant differences.
I will be running them with a 3S 30C 5000mah lipo and DJI Opto 30A escs, and Naza M v. 2, and the quad will be used for aerial videography.
I'm not certain what to look for when comparing motors, and don't know where to ask. I'd prefer the quality of the Tigers over the Cobras, but beyond that I'm not conversant enough.
