Hello everyone,

I am new to building quads... Hopefully I can get a better understanding of the do's and don'ts when creating my machines.... With that being said, here us my dilemma.. I have a SPF3 FC and a
FRSKY D8R-II receiver... Can someone/anyone explain to me how I am suppose to hook the receiver up to my FC and give me some good places to look for info

The connections on top is I02 for sbus ibus The bottom is I01 pwm& ppm.
If you Google spf3 pdf file it will show what every single thing is for.
I use ppm which is 3 wires 5v ground, signal.

Yes it is better to use the serial output as mentioned above, I do have a suspicion that you might have to download Cleanflight or Betaflight, so you can assign the channels 5 to 8, that is if you had to buy a separate controller. The assigned functions on the controller have to match that of the Flight controller. If your system came with a controller, dont worry about this, they would have done this already.
