checking in from Sydney, have been doing a lot a reading and hope to get into the game and find a hobby that my son and I can participate in.

Flying experience so far has been limited to having a sheet of nylon over my head and hope learning curve isnt to steep.

Welcome! It's a steep learning curve at first but when it starts to flatten out you're on top of the world! :nevreness:

How olds your son ?
I started my son flying when he was 6 years old with small 3 channel heli's, they have great fun flying but not as much as me…hehe

Welcome. Also in Sydney here. Let me know where you are maybe we could catch up for a flight - when the weather clears. Also got my son into the hobby with me - Taught him to build his own mini quad.

Wow dont pull him away from the girls lol.
Well maybe start him/you both with a flight simulator which won't help the PC issue but can save lots of money instead of crashing and repairing aircrafts.

Eflight do some good small heli's and a quad MQX I think, never flown one but they look great for stating out.
Good luck with the hobby and take up Skquad offer of hooking up.
