CC3D & ESC setup

Hello everybody,

I am new here so I decided to finally build my first quadcopter (I am completly new to RC)

So I am in the middle of building a qav250 clone using CC3D I have everything connected up to the receiver (Spektrum ar610) but my problem is when I run the configuration wizard in OpenPilot. When it comes to the ESC calibration the motors keep beeping and during the output calibration only one motor will spin.
(The ESC's are Hobbywing Skywalker 20a)

I'm using the DX6i so I was advised to bring the throttle trim all the way down which I did and I connected the esc's straight to the receiver and the motors would spin up.
So im thinking maybe the problem is with the flight controller or the transmitter's settings?
If anybody could help I would be really grateful, as I said im completly new to this hobby so if I left something out just let me know.

Thank's

was the point of the trim down to enable the motors to arm?

Also, did you do a calibration for the ESCs while connected directly to the receiver throttle output channel? Or you're doing it from within the flight controller?

Thanks for the reply,

Yes I persume the reason for the trim down was to enable the motors(I was advised this by the website I bought the esc's of), and yes I did the calibration when connected to the throttle channel (every motor spun up, callibration beeps fine), the problem seems to be when I try to calibrate through open pilot it just seems to detect one motor (I tried changing the cables around), im gonna upload a picture of my wiring tomorrow and hopefully somebody can make sense of it, im pretty sure it's just something simple.

If you did the calibration directly from Rx throttle channel - you'd want the trims set to center. You might want to redo that. If you did it with trims down - the calibration would be off. Try doing it again with trims centered, and then when you plug back into the FC, maybe you'll have better luck.
