Any idea what the thermo shut out temp is?
Did you have to do much programming to set them up or where they straight forward?

is 130ºc as hot as they have been? Was you copter fully loaded, what was the outside temp?

130 Fahrenheit = 55 Celsius , a quick google search said that these CC ICE 50 escs shut down when the internal temp reader marks 250 Celsius but its better to keep them below 210 C.

Programming the ESCs was straight forward, what I did was upgrade them to the 4.01 firmware, set the multicopter option, timing to low and refresh rate to 12 other similar settings are ok too.

The whole CS8 weighs 5.5kg or 12 pounds with the 2-axis gimbal and a gh2 using a 4s6000 but I plan to use two of these in parallel because flight times are nearly 5 min with 11x4.5 props.

Last time I checked YS-X6 was not compatible with Castle esc due to the throttle calibration procedure.

Latest. It's been a few months though and ZeroUav said they will look into it.

CC stuff used to have a few issues....but in the meantime they sorted it out...and now their products a pretty reliable.

there was a problem YS + CC

Starts all ok. but 80% of the trottle (kopter keeps assistant) multiple engines are cut (not cool) .... the battery cables hot (12 AWG)
timings CC exhibited in mid

I am flying them with 14X8 Graupners on a flat CS8 and 15X5 Xoars on a CS X8. They work great for me with 9 -11 kg AUW and WKM on both.
