hey guys,
here is a question out of the blue, i remember seeing that there are portable gun breifcases that have adjustable foam inserts, i was wondering if anyone has seen one that could fit the dji flamewheel 450 with props and all? and to have enough space for bats, etc.
just thinking this could make travel with the quad a bit easier.

ideas and links are welcomed

Also looking. I have looked at ebay and amazon, ones there are not of sufficient size. I have seen some more custom quality ones just searching web, but out of my price range. With the number of flamewheels DJI will sell and hex's, this might be a good idea for someone to come up with a solution, probably would have to be under $99, and in the sweet spot of 59-79 ala Gaui case.

just do a search ((alumnium flight case )) not sure what size you need

ebay has hundreads of different sizes from £10 to £60

then just get a block of foam and use knife to cut out what you need

dont know if you also have maplin stores over there but they sell all the case parts for self build just supply the ply wood your self easy realy

I've been using a "reallyusefulboxes" 42L case to cart my F450's around and keep them out of the way.

No use for rough shipping, but fine for general storage - i've got a tray for lipos, props, tools and bits with space for 2 F450's, DX8 and Fatsharks.

Cost about £10 from a local stockist, but available online too…

I had been thinking about this myself today. I ride my bike around a lot because I don't own a car. I might get a messenger backpack to stick the f450 in. It should fit...just would have to take the props off every time. No big deal though. Computer, tools, accessories could go in saddlebags.

Buy a fishermans backpack. The one that is large enough to carry the fishing suitcase in (not sure wat it is called in englisch). I use that. Big enough for everything.
