Carbon Core X650 build help/thread

I'm wanting to build one more small/medium multirotor before I build a big one. I have a Carbon Core X4 650 coming. I've built a 550 but I am still new to putting my own motor/esc/prop combos together so I am asking for some help from you guys. Ideally I want this quad to lift an Nex-5n with gimbal.

The AUW i've calculated is around 2600g. I've used ecalc but still not entirely sure how to interpret everything.

Here's what I'm thinking. Please tell me what you think.

Carbon Core x4 650
4s batteries. I have Turnigy Nano Tech 25-50c 5000mah and Gens Ace 25c 5500mah
4 Tiger Motor 2814-11 kV710
4 40amp Maytech escs http://www.rc-drones.com/rcd-mt40a-opto-v1-esc.php
Graupner 12X6 << used these as a quideline for ecalc
1 VoltAir power distibution board http://www.rc-drones.com/voltair-60ampboard.php
Naza

I believe ecalc is telling me it will work. I tried with 11-13 inch props with slowfly and electric. i attached a pic.

Do you think this setup will work for me carrying a small camera? Nex-5n with 16mm?

One question I have is on the tiger motor page it shows motors running hot with certain prop combos. In this table http://www.rctigermotor.com/show.php?contentid=132 it shows the motors as hot with 4s and 12X3.8 props. Can anyone elaborate on that?

I'm not married to any of the components but do like the sounds of the above setup. I appreciate any thoughts on whether or not you think this setup will do what I am asking it to do. Any advice on motor/prop combos especially. Thanks!

With your set-up as mentioned, the quad itself should fly fine. however, if your total flying weight is anything more than 2400g I'd guess that a 700kv motor would definitely be running a tad warm. You also need to include the weight of all the other equipment as well - How do you intend to mount the camera ? You need to factor the weight of any add-ons such as camera + legs + gimbal into ecalc as well. If you can give us those details as well, it would be easier to help you.

cheers
