Can't register for Naza assistant...

"The network is abnormal, check the network status"...

It was normal enough to download the programme... Have tried turning off firewall, re-booting, deleting re-loading programme to no avail :dejection:

Any ideas much appreciated. (Searching the error code it would appear I'm not the only one having problems)

Hi Andy,
If you are using a wireless router, try plugging directly with CAT5 cable (Network cable) it might be a router issue rather than PC ie a port blocking something.

Tried all sorts. Even re-configured the router to disable it's firewall.

It frustrates the hell out of me when you buy something and it's not easy to setup/use. My wireless system downloaded the assistant software without problem.
It updates VBar, Beast-X, 3GX and Nikon Camera firmware sans issue. So annoying, I can't even get past 1st base with this, I'm only trying to register the programme that
I've already downloaded FFS! Am going to repeat the process on my laptop, if I have no joy it's been sent back via UPS on Monday...

boot it up and shutdown a couple times, have a cigarette, come back and try again

alot of people have this problem getting going, usually all of a sudden it works

Shut down and restarted four times no good... Normally pretty good with this stuff but I'm screwed here... I'll try again in the morning.

So frustrating though, DJI should have a work around, as you say, there's alot of peeps struggling! Just google the error code...

Not good... Just tried through a VPN and still didn't work... Giving up and it's going back Monday, seven hours wasted, pathetic!

I am having the exact same issue (Sat Aug 4th, 11 am)

I just got the NAZA and set aside this weekend to install it, now I'm stuck and feel like i wasted 400 bucks.
I have disabled firewalls etc.

Please if you get it working post the solution.

If you're going to start putting restrictions on downloads and require people to register etc the very least you should do is ensure the system works reliably... It's my first foray into
quads from years in heli's, so far I'm not impressed... Align get some stick from folk, at least I've never had a problem downloading from their site...

Being a software developer I don't understand why they make you register the software. The software wont work without a NAZA anyhow and its not like anyone will try to use it for other systems because its proprietary software. If they decide to stop supporting the NAZA or go under it sounds like my unit will be bricked if I try to install on another laptop. This is silly, they need to let it run without registration.

I thought exactly the same... It's not like a Sim programme that you can pass and share, as you say, "It won't work without a Naza"...

Here is the thing, every post where this has occured can you find One that stated it still doesn't work or all of them working after a day or two?

It's a day or two so I'm not worried a bit

I've paid out £300 up front for this bit of kit, it's my weekend and I want it to work now... If they do take the servers down at the weekend that's fine, tell everybody though!

Valid point, message DJI & express your displeas with this portion.

I can tell you after flying my F450 I love this thing and I only have a few packs through it

I just plugged mine in and hit firmware assistant and it logged into there server and did the check...... about 4 months ago when it was there server, even plugging it in and turning it on after you registered got me that same error

you guys for sure are online when your trying to register it right?

Thanks kolner, but yea i'm sure, Im a developer of iphone/android and pc apps so i'm pretty sure I know how to do this :)

I also tried teathering to my Android Nexus so I would not be behind my cable router and that did not help.

I tried disabling my firewall on my laptop. I removed and re-added the Windows driver, I tried my wife's laptop too.

Thanks taking the time to try yours but i don't know what else to try after trying 2 PC's and 2 Internet connections.
