Canon 5D MKIII fpv feed freezing

Hi all. My setup is a DJI S1000 with Zenmuse Z15-5d HD gimbal running a Canon 5d MKIII. I'm using a regular 5.8ghz FPV feed to frame my shots. I'm having no issues when recording video however if I take a photo with the shutter switch on my TX my FPV feed freezes and I have to land and turn the camera off and then on again to regain live feed.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Sounds like the 5D is coming out of live view mode after the photo? You'll only get video out while in live view.
