I am new to the hobby and HAVE read all 50+ pages of the group build which has inspired me to build a Multi-Rotor.

Can anyone reccomend a decent inexpensive gimbal that would accommodate a point and shoot camera AS WELL as a gopro?

As of now. The total of all the items above including Male/Female Servo leads will run about $700 shipped.

Welcome Fydaman. Did you remember the HK 10 pack of 10 cm 3 pin servo wires to connect the Rx to the FCB? Everyone eels to forget these things.

I did not see the servo wires on the first read. Maybe I am so used to no seeing it on build lists that I am "self-programmed" not to see it at this point.

Thank you JBrumber. I will add it to my list. Do you see anything wrong with this setup? I would hate to order something and have it not be compatible and have to deal with the shipping nightmare. Does anyone have and help or insight for me? Or know of any Easter sales or coupon codes?

Mr take no prisoners!
Personally I can't recommend the Turnigy radio, grab a Taranis or a Futaba T8FG used instead.

If you ever plan on using the quad for grabbing video or doing FPV then rethink and get a different more suitable frame.

I plan on doing video and FPV with the F450. I see plenty of people being able to get 10 minutes flight times with a gopro and FPV gear. I am sure I will eventually upgrade to the F550, but for now I am doing baby steps. I am also on a budget since I am purchasing everything at one time.

I ended up going with the F550. With everything mentioned above to include all connectors it ran me to a grand total of $855.00

Don't be so sure about "upgrading" to a 550, mine sits in the corner never to be used again, compact quads are just so much user friendly.

I am concerned with the 15amp esc and lifting capabilities.. My 550 says it's going to arrive tomorrow.. So the build starts this weekend :)
