Can I run Emax 12 amp ESC on 4S?

Hu Guys,

I am building a MiniQuad 250. I have everything to start building.

I was wondering if I can run the Emax 12amp ESC on 4S. It says 2-3S on the pack but I hear people flying them on 4s: more punch and longer flight time.

i don't think anyone is going to say yes given the packaging says 2-3S but if you like being a test pilot and don't mind shorter life spans and the occasional smell of burring electronics then, sure, give it a try!

if there are a lot of people that you actually know (in person or online) doing it then have at it and let us know what happens but MultiRotorForums isn't responsible for the outcome!

Thanks for your answer. I have both batteries. I guess I will first fly 3S to see how the things goes and afterwards tempt 4S.
Still have the build the thing though. Wiring is not easy on these small quads.
