Can bus

Hi,

for my current Okto build this CAN BUS Y piece attached to the GPS cable it disturbing me. I would like to get rid of it. There should be any problem to just cut the wires and resolder them and leaving out this Y box or what ever its called ? Does can bus use some adressing or all information is displayed for all devices ?
Eventually can i reuse the Y canbus box at a differnt spot if i need it ?
