I bought a DJI FC40 a couple of years ago and built a FW450 last year with a 3 axis gimble and gopro. Are the manufacturers cameras as good as a gopro or how do they all rate? what I would really like is to have is a handheld controller with the fpv monitor (phone or tablet) on my controller. My 450 is all DJI. Is it possible to convert my 450 to that type of fpv? it doesn't matter what fc, I will adapt.

At one point I had an SJ4000 and I thought it was nearly as good as a gopro and better in some ways. I tried to upgrade the firmware and killed it so I guess thats a negative. Theres a lot of you tube videos of people comparing the go pro knock offs and other sports/action cams. Some are comparable and a good bargain. I think that gopro is still the standard that everyone tries to copy though.
