camera mount vibration - looking for solutions

the play in the motor is pretty normal and not something that you should be too concerned with. different motors have differing amounts of play.

I think what Bartman says about keeping everything as rigid as possible, well totally rigid, is 99% of the answer. If you hold your machine up and wobble it, shake it about, does the camera mount stay rigid with the rest of the frame or does it sort of wobble independently? Are there perceptible shakes in the mount that continue after you stop wobbling the main frame, I mean for like a millisecond.

After 4 weeks for chasing down my vibration issues I think I have had some success. Although it was a gray day I am happy with the smothness, Thanks to everyone weighing in. I appreciate the feedback.

Certainly on the right track there. The MR stability and flying are really good but there is still a little vibration getting through to the camera. That slight waviness to the image, the 'jello effect', is the result of vibrations getting through to a CMOS sensor.

Maybe try a different camera if you can. Some cameras are more resilient.

I agree with Mombasa...but I noticed the jello effect at lower heights = lower motor RPM, may I ask if your blades are 100% balanced? It seems from your video that increased revs cause less/no jello effect, leaving me wondering about props? I had a very similar problem with my old trex600e heli ... at high revs she was a dream to film with, but during decents the lower revs showed as jello.
