We have a skyjib x4 running gh3 zen and kopterworx k10 motors.
we usually run this on gens ace 5800 45c batts but are struggling to find stock of new ones.
Gens ace have 6000 25c rated batts that are available & the question is a) has anyone had any experience with the slightly lower c rated batts & b) am I really going to notice any performance difference with the 25c over the 45c ones?
thanks in advance.

aH times c = amp cont draw they can handle. the 25c gens ace are the benchmark cell to use. there amazing.

5800 45c is capable of 261 cont amp draws

6000 25c is capable of 150 amp continuous. if there is two in parallel that's 300 amps.

A sky jib with a red at 38 pounds runs something like 120 amps and is overloaded..... just to give out some numbers to compare what is what.

thanks that has kinda confirmed my suspicions that the 45c were bait overkill & due to the fact that they are out of stock everywhere means my hands are tied with the 6000 25c but they will do just fine.

Easy? You call that easy?
Hey Lec,

I'm also a huge fan of GensAce 40C lipos, I have 8. I also have two 25C GensAce and they perform similar. The only difference is the voltage drop in flight is greater on 25C so you may need to lower your voltage warnings.

Giant Shark usually have a good stock of all things GensAce.
