Hi guys, I'm a bit of a newbee and was wondering if there is anybody out there that has tested the DJi system on a large frame, and what is the limit from motor to motor? Oh yes its a Hexa platform that I am thinking about.

Morning Rob.

I have helped Geoff at quadcopters.co.uk with the biggest I have seen.. a CS8. It massive. We have only done a couple of low level fight tests because of the wind. As soon at things get better weather wise we will give it another go. It did seem to handle the wind fairly well but until we can give it a proper testing who knows. there does sem to be a bit of an issue according to some. I think the correct props/motor combos are crutial.

Check out RTryders thread he has built a CS6 with the WKM

WOW, what a welcome, bearly on forum 5 min and getting replys, I think I'm going to enjoy this forum from the previous one lol. And yes Dave I have seen Geoffs BIG BOY, I try to keep in touch with him as he is only a drive from me which is good for me getting my hands on stuff instead of waiting for post. I have spoke to him recently about the DJi which he has talked me into having, for my new RUDE BOY that i have knocked up, he might of shown you but if not I will post some pics for everbody to have a good giggle about. With me being new to this forum business I'm just going to have a chat with him about where and how to put build pics on this forum.
Again thanks very much for the warm welcome.
Cheers

You could start a new thread of your build or look at starting a blog entry..

Best way is to upload pics to the server and then copy and paste the link into your post that way we see a bigger picture rather than small thumbnails that we then have to open..
