Got my frame today, so I thought I would start this evening. Using a copter control board thanks to OVDT.

Arducopter motors and esc's and I just need to lay my hands on a 3S battery. Not sure if 4S will be okay, the esc's and motors can manage but not sure what it will do with such a light heli!

Very cool ! Had a smiilar idea to stick the cc board in my CX to try it out. Probably will have some questions to ask you once i get to it.

Boris, hopefully it will be flying by the weekend. Just waiting for some 12 gauge wire and bullet connectors. I can't believe you can build this thing in one evening!

Well, it's built and flying! Just waiting for some 10" props from Geoff, flying on 12x45's at the moment.

Not sure what's going on with the copter control stabilisation, but I have to give it a lot of stick input to stop drifting. With a 4S battery it was drifting backwards, then I tried a 3S and it now drifts to the side! Maybe I need to recalibrate the esc's and check all settings again.
