Brushless Hybrid question

I have created a hybrid brushless/ servo gimbal using AlexMos board and brushless gimbal for tilt/roll and the AV200 pan axis (manual control). My question relates to controlling/powering the pan axis via a seperate receiver.
Don't want to fry my board so here is my question. Control of tilt/roll via AlexMos board into the seperate receiver. Should I just plug my pan control/input directly to the sperate receiver also? What about power for the av200 pan? Will it draw its power from the AlexMos board also or should I hook it up via a BEC to its own power source via the receiver?
Any thoughts/input would be appreciated before I release any magic smoke!

Will post pics when I get the chance but not much to see. Its basically a mod to utilise the av200 pan axis and landing gear. I have removed the av200 roll/tilt cage and attached my own brushless gimbal in its place.

Got it working so The av200 pan servo takes its power from the Alexmos board so no need for any seperate battery as all is powered off the one brushless gimbal battery. Got it setup with Alexmos controlling tilt/roll as normal (now with rc input to adjust tilt/ roll angle when needed). What remains of the av200 is the pan axis, servo, drive belt, mounting plates and 360 skids/legs. Can now control the pan axis manually which is handy for my type of flying! I have everything setup so that I have all manual adjustments to the 3 axis set to my mx20. Now just need to get it airborne and see how it performs.
Also my experience with the brushless controllers to date has been with the Martinez and the Alexmos and I definately seem to get smoother results with the Alexmos board. Cant seem to get rid of an annoying micro jitter on the Martinez roll.

Thats exactly the mod I'm looking for... Save the servo pan and brushless tilt roll. I've also found better results with the latest Alex vs martinez 048 on my musky gimbal. Noticed the Alex 3.0 board w 3rd Axis has been released just now as well.
