Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Please only make five selections in the poll above. I couldn't figure out how to limit your choices.
Thanks!

Should guys be able to vote for more than 1 vid from the same guy? It would seem each person would get only 1 entry. If we are allowed to vote for ourselvs and someone had 5 vids they would get 5 votes for themselves. It doesnt say in the rules we were allowed more than 1 video entry. Also if someone enters 2 vids and all 2 vids get the most votes you would randomly draw from only 4 names or draw from 1 name twice and only 3 other names or draw from 5 different names or if 2 guys w/2 vids are each voted u would draw from only 3 names ?

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
well, seeing that some guys had trouble making the deadline with one video i don't know if we would have had much more in the way of entries if we had more clearly defined the number-of-entries rule any better but I get your point.

So, to clarify, we'll say that the top five vote getters, not videos, will be in the random drawing. I'm almost wondering if we should just pick a winner from the people that took the time to post a video in the first place.....hmmm....i wish I could just pull an answer to that one from the chuckle patch.

To be honest, I could spend more time thinking out the rules but then I'd lose interest in having contests (and I'd have to hire a lawyer!!). Thanks to everyone for being flexible on all of this.

Top five vote getters or just pick a winner from the 12 that entered? So this thread actually has two polls now....hmmm....complicated:confused::confused::confused:

As an entrant (and only voter at this stage but you guys have probably guesssed that already!), I am happy if all 12 go into the hat. 1 in 12 is a damn good chance for 6 awesome motors!
There was quite a variety of abilities (and chosen flight fields) but good on those that have put the time into posting their video.

Summary - I'm all for the all-in approach. Bring out the paper and the target like the Droidworxs frame competition! That video was awesome!!!

OK thats sounds fair then. Top 5 "vote Getters" so that you will still be drawing from 5 different names.

You might want to change the info at the top of the poll page as it says 26th which is Fri.

Ben,
Pick five favorites, the winner will be randomly selected from the five top "vote getters".

By the way, voting has to end at sometime so voting will close Thursday night at 10 PM EST. I'll try to run the random selection process before the end of the weekend so we can announce a winner on or before August 28th.

I thought it would be interesting to figure out how many innocent props were destroyed in this contest. I killed 9.

Also looks like I need some blatant self promotion.

**Vote for FlyEYE, Posted the 1st videos and had the highest lap count**

Only 33 votes?? c'mon guys, it took time to make those videos, many parts were broken, please take a minute to give them a look and pick your five favorites.

I only killed two props and one tricopter arm BUT I flew the only diy tri and hex. The hex was even new and still being configured!!!

### vote to get eflierNZ off the bottom 'cause he deserves better ###

oh I nearly forgot - he's a damn nice Kiwi bloke! ;)

you guys are funny... but looks like i need to do the same... oh well i'm just happy to be getting some votes other than my own. and why did i have to vote for the guys that are winning? Doh!

Yes keep voting folks! (for tonkajeep34)

Hey now my tri is a DIY too!:D you just couldn't tell cause it was dark.

Hurricane delay?

Bart, I am guessing you're far enough inland to not be effected by the Hurricane too much but hope you're not too close to water. Maybe someone should post a bonus video, how many laps with 115mph winds;) Sorry, had to make light of the situation.

(My mom, grandmother and uncle live in Margate and Atlantic City. They are in the process of moving everything off the ground floor and evacuating inland tonight.) If am sure they will be fine, but my moms house is 3 in from the beach. While only Cat 2, it sounds like a large storm. Hope everyone stays safe out there.
