We are looking to by a UAV to do aerial photography to create terrain model's, dem's, and point clouds using agisoft and pix4d. The amount of land covered would require a UAV with flight planning/autopilot software that can trigger the camera and it pretty accurate, An accurate GPS, very stable, and a decent battery life. From what I have read, a octocopter would be best because of the motor redundancy and stabilization. We do not have a camera yet but I assume we are looking at a nice DSLR camera for this job.
