Question ------------ new to Quads , so it might sound stupid to some , but I have seen so many different places to mount the BEC unit , DJI looks like they mount it on the arms , but so many other people tell to mount it under the lower plate ,,,, confused ,,, any videos out there for better ideas .....

Easy? You call that easy?
Just mount it where you can still access the USB port and see the light. I have mine out on an arm with velcro for easy removal.
