Battery storage?

When flying on a commercial airline with a multirotor where should the lipos be stored? With the multi or in a separate bag?

Hi Baker,

I have not traveled with Li-Po's yet myself but I've seen a lot of people mention in the Forums that you have to take it as carry on luggage, they should not go into the cargo hold.

Maybe someone with first hand experience can verify this.

Thats what I thought but I wanted to make sure before I get to the airport. If anyone else can shed some light on this subject I would appreciate it.

Did a little research and the TSA-FAA says you have to bring batteries in your carry-on baggage not in checked baggage. Make sure the leads are taped and packed in the proper bag.
