Autoquad 6 FC users?

Just curious how many are using or have tried out the Autoquad 6 flight controller? Would love some opinions on ease of setup and use, primarily compared with MK.

It looks like it has a ton of potential, especially for waypoint navigation and autonomous flight features.

Hi Shawn,

i have one standing here:

performace wise auto leveling gps hold, out performing DJI MK ! Altitude hold i am still having minor problems.

Setup time calibration etc. Is a lot to do and more complicated than MK for sure. Static dynamic calibration doing it the first time and than the calculation it challenging the first time or at least for me.

I had 5 flights now with out any issues. I certainly considering to pop it onto one of the HL at some point !

Hey Boris,

Thanks a bunch for that. I am really intrigued by this FC! There are just so many features that folks seem to be having good to great success with. What do you think your altitude hold issues are?

The calibration process is what seems really intimidating to me. I think I am going to watch how things go for the next couple months and when life slows down this coming summer I might have to take the plunge.

In the meantime please keep us posted on your experiences.

nothing big i have three builds standing here and i am flying the auto quad in default setting ( PIDS) just don't have the time. It could be that my alt hold which gets controlled by the throttle stick similar to DJI is just not set up correctly. Since you can define the mid position of the stick when it actually bits. Than I did some change to to baro senros some wrapping it with foam etc. I am positive it my lack of time and fiddling around. I have seen a second one here in vienna thats holding alt perfectly !

The calibration process is a bi..ch but if you get lucky and there are no external interference it can be done in one day ! Calculations is another story but no so demanding just copy pasting variables in the assistant. My calibration process took weeks since i didn't hack it that the wiring of near by train tracks messed up my mag logs every time

Next time i fly it i will make a video !
