Are my props too big?

Is that why the instructions that came with the props tell you not to let them dry out? I think I will keep the hexa in the bath tub, I don't want dry props!

I'm not quite sure how you are meant to keep props moist, but I'm sure they will be okay..maybe they become brittle in the sun ??

Those wood zoars... although a bit expensive work really well too. Bart did a batch order last year and I got some. I used them on several different multicopters and they worked good for me. After reading RTryder's post with his wookong I did order some apc props to try out and I found a lot of difference between the two different style apc props. Recently I even went up to 14 inch props on my quad but the rpm was so slow when I wanted to come back down from altitude that I could see one motor almost stop and the quad became very unstable. I think that quad needs smaller props to keep up the rpm and make it more stable.

I have to agree strongly with what Gunter said early on and it is that each mutlicopter will need different style props for best performance depending on how it is set up.
