ANyone have any advice on AirFoil quads?

We are looking into purchasing a couple of these Q-700 Pro quads for our business. Does anyone know anything about the company, good or bad? We talked to him about coming to his facility to check them out and he straight up told us no... left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth but the quads look awesome.

If I've got this right (and my apologies to them/him if not), this is a guy whose been involved in the "MR scene" for a long time and was an avid promoter of tri-copters. As I recall, getting into an online argument with him wasn't difficult, if you catch my drift. I also recall some ruffled feathers over various "claims" made about the T-layout.

I'm curious why you would be considering this option, though. A quick Google shows it to be a bog-standard quad layout with a rather flimsy-looking (and unproven AFAIK) gimbal and standard DJI gear. From the sound of it you want a "ready to fly" system with proven performance - there are loads of options available. I'd probably start at http://www.quadrocopter.us/ (if I was in the US ;)).

Watch out for that guy. I would say a big warning to you. I wont go into personal experiences but i have seen some other's experiences on the forums that reminded me of my own. Plus, why spend that much money on a quad when you can have redundancy for less?

Glad you guys are stepping up. Been talking to the boss about the options available to us and I agree with you all, if I can't come visit and see what you have to offer, I don't want to deal with you. Going to look at other options and will gladly take any suggestions from you all.
