Antenna polarization

I'm sure this has been asked in here before and I applogize if so, but I wanted to know if when using the spironet 5.8 patch that is r/t hand polarized, does one need to use same polarizing on the transmitter antenna side as well? Or can one use left & right together?

If using CP (circular polarized) antennas, both the Rx and Tx antennas must have the same polarization. A right hand CP antenna on the Rx will not receive left hand CP transmissions clearly from the Tx.
