Hi boys and girls,
My history started with heli flying, I currently hava a Trex 700E F3C and a 450 PRO.
I also fly planks.
My first interest in multirotors was with the Xaircraft X650 and the X450. I departed from the Xaircraft club because of the total rubbish Gps rip off.
I now have two MK's, a basic quad with navi and Gps and a Hexa XL, again with Gps, my interest is AP and I use a Canon G12 running CHDK script and a GoPro.
A real steep learning curve with the MK but woth it.
Been lurking here for a while, can I say a real good natured bunch here.
Cheers

Hi Ross, I just edited my profile. I am at Ferndown just outside of Bournemouth. I think Barnstable is a long way from here but you are welcome to come and fly anytime. I am no expert but I do have my head around the software, updating etc so if I can help I would be only too pleased.
Cheers

Hi Paul, I know Ferndown very well, was stationed at Blandford in the early eighties for a few years...love Wimbourne, Poole & the local area. I will keep you in mind for when the big business of installing software etc comes around ;)
Enjoy your stay on this forum, its probably the best there is to be honest, great bunch of guys & some with really good experience (not me of course ;) )

Regards
Ross

Welcome Paul.. how long you been using the MK stuff.

I travel all round the country for work as next time I am down your neck of the woods Ill give you a shout..

At the moment I am up on the Rhins peninsular in Scotland waiting for the wind to drop to get some photos of a light house, a harbour and some snails!.. dont ask!

Hi Dave
Yes it would be great to meet up if you get down to this neck of the woods. I have read many of your posts and I am sure I will be picking your brains!!!! I have been flying a few years, heli's mainly,
but looked at the MK's a couple of years ago but thought they were too expensive so last year I got the Xaircraft X650 and although not a bad quad it is light years behind MK. I got the MK quad about 4 months ago and just love it. I added navi and gps. When the chance came to get a Hexa XL I snapped it up. I have been playing with fpv on the quad and use the hexa for ap, it is a steep learning curve but at least the MK does what it says on the tin.
