My job is tech support, so I have the right combination of technical inclination and gluttony for punishment to make it far in this field. What I lack are experience and money. I'm saving money from side jobs for the latter; the former, I hope to compensate for by asking legions of simple questions here.
I hope to build a hexacopter based on the 550 frame and a DJI Naza. I like the idea of the hex more than I like a quad because I like stability more than agility, and I hope to upgrade into aerial photography (hobby level- I'm not yet nearly good enough to go pro). Motors, rotors and the rest are as yet undetermined. I'm interested in the Naza mostly due to Goldworthy's glowing reviews.
Please feel free to suggest better options to me, particularly if they'll save money :02.47-tranquillity:
