Per the link below, we are recommending that users not engage the Altitude Hold feature when using HoverflyPRO/GPS firmware v4.6rev1, rev2, rev3.

I am sure that you have all seen threads regarding the aircraft dropping out after this feature is engaged. This is not universal but it has occurred enough to warrant this recommendation until this issue can be fixed. We expect new firmware later this week.

Awesome. Thanks Ben.

I'm just wondering whether having such a tight tollerence (with the need of being very level and in a stable hover) may be asking a bit much when we want to enable AH at 150'... where we are not able to judge climb/decend perfectly.

Cheers

Pete

An update regarding this issue: due to a scheduling conflict, the beta test for the fix had to be pushed to Monday. We should have the new version released a day or two after that.

Also, a little advanced warning: if you had to change your gain settings when you upgraded from an older version to 4.6, there is a good chance that you will need to so again with the new version.
