Sorry it took me so long to reply. I did update all of the before mentioned items. Still nothing. I decided to go away from trying to use the iOSD to record GPS points for now and bought a simple GPS logger and synced its clock with my GoPro's clock.

It is sad to have to use it compared to just using the iOSD, but it by far less frustrating.
