8 + sbus?

I'm using a 14sg with the 7008 reciever and shown here: http://www.gpdealera.com/cgi-bin/wgainf100p.pgm?I=FUTL7675

So I use sbus to connect to my xaircraft super x. Then everything else, light switch, retracts etc can plug into the servo inputs on the reciever? Is that correct? Thx

In some cases as channels are nearly used up, you can still use the extra Rx ouput channel(s) but that their functions will be concurrent to some used by your MR FC. e.g., switching from GPS mode to Attitude mode might also turn on MR LED lights.

It says you can have sbus(8 channels) and a additional 8 channels for a total of 16. Now ultimately that is limited by the number of channels on the tx. In my case 14. Correct me if I am wrong but I assume you can assign dedicated switches for up to 8 different items. In addition to AETR, mode and rth.

Never mind..... I was thinking of a different Futaba s.bus receiver that has less channels.

Run the rx on "Mode D", then you can use outputs 1, 2, 3, 4, etc as channels 9, 10, 11, 12, etc, and still have the sbus run the first 8 channels. i.e. your flight control channels.
