After inconsistency and frustration with the AV200 and RSGS combo, yesterday, and a small mishap, I was forced into coming up with a quick solution for a camera mount for a 5Dmk3 on a Skyjib.. I grabbed my gorilla tripod, and some cable ties, and came up with what you can see in the pic.. Remarkably, it is actually far more stable than the RSGS ever was!! Admittedly it won't fare so well in high winds, but I used it yesterday filming for a TV commercial in light winds with complete success.. OK you have to land in order to change the angle of the camera, but unlike RSGS, it actually works - reliably!!!!
