If you go to 4s I would use 9x4.7 CF then it should run cooler, what ever you use you want it to hover at 45-55%

I would recommend using 4s and getting that hover throttle down to 50% where it belongs.

Can't you hold the motor with one hand and turn the prop with the other?

I put the 8" Graupners on and the altitude is stable looks like I just had to much prop. Hovers in manual at about 50%. Thanks for the input Kloner

Hi Lauren this is the latest one, it flies great just has this up and down pulsing. The AUW is 1300 g.

I am using a 4s 3000mah 880 kv Storm motors and 9x4.7 cf props, what is AUW? I also have 3 other MR a HEX,Y6 and X8 and they all fly perfect, this one flies good it is just when I want to hover for a few min. it climbs and descends back and forth at about 15-20 foot pattern.

I am having a little problem with one of my NAZA Lites on a Quad, it is not holding its altitude in any mode, it will climb and the drop then climb and drop, other than that it is very stable, any help would be great. Gains do not seem to affect this problem.

Is it necessary to throttle calibrate these ESCs? If so is it done in the normal way?

I am getting 10 min with gimbal, Gopro, heavy lift conversion with a 4s 8000 mah battery, more than enough time for any video.

I agree about the wire length, it should be added to the motors not the ESC.

I also agree with Scott, I have 4 NAZAs 2 Lite 1 V1 and 1 V2 the V1 has been flying for over 2 years and has not had one problem, 90% of fly aways are pilot error IMO or builder error.

If you read those closely you will find out that 95% of them are pilot error or builder error not the mfr. I have 5 NAZA systems V1/V2 and lite and have been flying them for 3 years and have not had as much as 1 glich in any of them

That's how I wound up using ABS it was laying around left over from one of my jobs, and I had an extra F550 frame in my parts bin, used it for a pattern, just eliminated 3 arms and it became the Tri Copter. This was the sequence.
