Hal, I'd try just reheating the blobs. They should reshape into a nice round ball. And I used my weller on 5 for the entire project, and once again, make sure your tip clean as a whistle.

Hal, my 2 cents..... put more solder on those pads. Heat em up and they should form a nice smooth ball.
