    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

I was speaking on a corporate level, not per say the instructors or personnel. At the end of the day it's the management that come up with and implement the admin procedures and they get there instructions from further up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

I also am undecided between BNUC-s and RPQ-s, or I was, but after reading this discussion I have come to the conclusion that even though the RPQ-s appears at first glance to be more stringent and more expensive in the long run. I would rather have that than the potential of lost revenue as a...

    CarbonCore Cortex....Owners' Thread

I also considered purchasing from carbon core, but given what I've heard here I'm thinking to reconsider. Sounds like he's a bit of a snob, not interested in hobbyists, the whole bloody industry was founded on hobbyists! And I'm sorry, but the hell kind of customer support is he providing? Read...

    Co-Axial naming conventions

I agree with IrisAerial. X4 for quad, Y3 for tri. X8 for quad coax and Y6 for tri coax. Hex is a hex and I've yet to see a hex12. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Hex crashed in the lake

In this instance I filmed in 1080p @25fps and taking photos at the same time. The Go Pro is set to wide. I have a video switcher fitted and flick between my sony 600TVL WDR cam and the Go Pro.

New Hex crashed in the lake

It's just a recreational area I think. Not sure about the brown patch, possibly caused by a bonfire one Guy Fawkes night. It was filmed in Penistone, South Yorkshire, UK on the edge of the Pennines. Contrary to popular belief South Yorkshire and Yorkshire in general is a very green county...

S1000 Video by Aerial Media Pros

Will be interesting to see how you get on with the Z15-5D. I'm seriously considering investing in a Vulcan which should be capable of carrying one. Your thoughts on its ease of use and quality of results would be interesting to hear. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

New Hex crashed in the lake

Flight time is closely tied to the lipo type and capacity/motor/prop combination and the overall take off weight of your UAV. I have the same as yourself, F550 with stock dji motors/esc's/10x3.8 props and h3-2d. I used 2x 330ah 3s for about 6mins flight here's a link to my test flight on fairly...

What multi airframe for heavy lift use?

Hello all! My apologies if I have posted in the incorrect location. I am planning and budgeting the cost of building/purchasing a heavy lift multi. Its main use will be AP and Videography and will need to be able to comfortably carry a brushless gimbal for dslr and the camera and lens (Canon...

    Gimble problem need help please

You will probably only get 60 degrees of movement from your servos when powered up, even though, when not powered, you get more than 60 degrees of physical movement when turned by hand. It all depends on the servo, normal servos you only get 60 deg of movement.

    Radian stabilizers

Thanks for the tip buddy. Ill look into my gains when i get back. I was worried that the ROV had dried up. The money is crap compared to what I'm doing, but it's still good in the scheme of things. Agency is definitely the way to go if there's work matey. I need to get things keyed in copter...

    Radian stabilizers

That's a bummer matey, I'm away to at the mo. my last trip for LAL then I'm back job hunting, possibly ROVing. I'm still doing the learning process with my 'cheapo' gimbal, saying that, I quite like it; I just need to make it smoother and more steady. Think a lot of it is down to my flying. I'm...

    Hard Case Ground Station

I was thinking about having the flexibility of being mobile. I can see the appeal of just being able to set up somewhere and then sitting down and off you go, but likewise, I personally like being able to move around if its necessary to do so. I suppose it's down to personal taste and...
