I was flying way up in the hills and I got a "loose or missing prop" warning message. My controller would not respond to my stick movements but the return to home function did work.

Flew my Phantom until I lost contact, then threw on the range extender and got about 1000 feet more of contact. Lots of variables but it did work.

I was going to tether it but got lazy. Yes, all sticks were calibrated in ardupilot and appeared to be doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing. Something is going on.

I didn't mix Parts. I removed all of the pixhawk parts off and put it on the flame wheel. Check out this video. I think it is my transmitter because that is the only common part shared among all my drones which now all are basically unpredictable.

Got a pretty good deal on eBay. I think it is a good deal. The auction was for a DJI Flame Wheel F550 ART, just add your own remote, and lots of spare parts including 2 brand new in the box flight controllers, one of which I needed for a future project.

I need to balance the props and mount it better. That should eliminate the jello effect. Not bad for the price.

I made this a while ago but edited myself out and turned it into a music video.

This was shot over two mornings and was made from about only 15-20 minutes of footage. The fog was just right.
