Hoverfly Loosing horizont level while panning on CS 360 using HF gimbal controller

I did recalibrate the board few times already but will give it another try later. Regarding the servos there is one (for roll, as seen on the image) about 6cm off the edge of the board but is stationary relative to the board. No servo on the gimbal is moving relatively to the HF board.

Hoverfly Loosing horizont level while panning on CS 360 using HF gimbal controller

Hi, I have got my HF gimbal (version 1.01) controller installed on cinestar 360 gimbal. After panning the gimbal the horizont is completely lost and is slowly returning back to level in small steps as can be seen in the video. Any idea what could be wrong? here are my settings and...

Mikrokopter Currents on left side BL of an octo are lower then on right side

That is what I was thinking about as well... Does anyone have similar setup so we can compare temperatures and currents? I have Kopterworx 4 (KW4) motors, Zippy 8000mAh batteries, XOAR 14x4 props and MK stack. Using Deans plug. And all is on a Cinestar 8 frame.

Mikrokopter Currents on left side BL of an octo are lower then on right side

Hey guys, I am still trying to get rid of wobbles on my cinestar 8 (using latest MK soft) and today I was looking at the log files from naviboard. I have noticed that the motors (BLc's) number 6 and 8 (left side) are constantly having lower currents and temperatures then motor number 3 which is...

Cinestar gimbal Nick/Roll compensation values and getting rid of vibrations...how?

Thanks, but I am not using the separat FC just for the gimbal. I have the gimbal hooked up directly to the FC which is controlling the copter as well. I did some more tests on bench as @jeffscholl suggested and found that values around 28 work best. I would love to finally install my 360...

Cinestar gimbal Nick/Roll compensation values and getting rid of vibrations...how?

It's ballanced quite well...keeping in the center when no belt is attached I used lightweight compact camera...maybe 250grams. I have already removed 2 rings from each attachment point so currently have 16 alltogether. Hmm interesting I did not get that low as I thought it's too little...

Cinestar gimbal Nick/Roll compensation values and getting rid of vibrations...how?

Hey folks, I have shot some test video trying to find the best Nick/Roll compensation values for my cinestar gimbal (on CS8) powered by MK flight controller. However I did not manage to get satisfying result. Also I still have a vibrations issue. I used fresh XOAR 14x4 props for which I was...

    CineStar 360 vibration issues

I have filmed these with the travel at 60% and EXPO on 50% on both Aileron and Elevation channels (on Graupner MX-20). Would you mind sharing also the Camera compensation values for Nick and Roll? I am only using a lightweight camera so far, however I will try that. I was not aware of this at all!

    CineStar 360 vibration issues

I was going to start similar thread just now. I had vibrations as well but have removed 2 rubber bands from anti vibration plates so now I have 4 on each. That got rid of vibrations. However I am still having quite an issue with shakiness. Here is the video I shot yesterday in the park. Now I...

Mikrokopter HOTT mx 20 strange telemetry reading after update to FC 0.88m

Hey, I updated the receiver (twice) already. When selecting anything else from left hand menu than 'etc' the cursor won't even get down to the bottom line where the sumo is to be changed... so still no go :-(

Mikrokopter HOTT mx 20 strange telemetry reading after update to FC 0.88m

I figured that somehow and selected the ETC but still can't get the cursor to change the SUMO. See the video I made about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4T2p2O-IEw there you can see how I am pressing the SET button but cursor does not switch to edit mode at all.

Mikrokopter HOTT mx 20 strange telemetry reading after update to FC 0.88m

Right I did all the updates FC, NC, Transmitter and receiver. Binded the RX and TX fine but still getting the RC signal lost error message. I guess it's because I can't set the sum signal to SUMO 12. I guess there is a glitch in the software which does not allow me to change it. I am pressing...

Mikrokopter HOTT mx 20 strange telemetry reading after update to FC 0.88m

Hi, I just updated my FC to 0.88m and Nc to 0.28m and noticed that the Graupner HOTT mx-20 is showing strange telemetry info. I mean the standard displays not the MK specific ones. Those are fine. Well look at these images... http://www.flickr.com/photos/56531074@N06/sets/72157629879693348/

why is a poti on HOTT mx20 is controllig the throttle trim??

alright forget it...I think I must got confused. I did not realise that when you move the poti CTRL7 the indicator on the display is now displaying the poti position and not the actual throttle trim. I just set up a gimbal control this weekend and when I was testing it I noticed that the copter...
