...absolutely agree...however it does not shoot stills. I need both in one camera. I have a S900/Gh4 which I can configure for both...but when I travel I need something lighter... That BMCC would have been perfect if it could shoot stills as well....

gopro shoots stills (actually both video and stills at the same time, which is a very cool feature...) I don't see why it would be so difficult to implement this...and this one is not 4K...so still not an option for me...really too bad...

Does it shoot stills? Last BMCC didn't and that was a showstopper for me so I would have hoped they'd offer this option. Any clue? It is not mentioned in the specs...How hard could it be to implement this in the software!?

Came back. We took the drone in a 1630 Pelican case. Not a single question on what it was or lips etc. Took 6 flights. We flew near 12 apostles (Victoria) and King's Canyon (NT). I have over 1200 RC flights and not once I had a lipo cell fail on me. And yet this is what happened during a flight...

for now we only saw lizard and free roaming parrots (which is always so surprising...) - nothing dangerous (yet!)

Yes, changing hemisphere without recalibration would surely mean big trouble :-)

Thanks a lot that helps! I plan to stay exactly within those limits - glad to hear there is nothing more restrictive than those. Thanks for the coffee...unfortunately we don't plan Canberra. Australia is such a HUGE country it was very difficult to make the most of out of 3 weeks already!

We are about to go to Australia, 3 weeks road trip. I am taking a F550 with a zenmuse & gopro. Nothing special (except the huge pelican case and extra luggage fee I am paying..). Anything I need to know flying drones in Australia? Nothing urban intended / only landscapes / coastal etc. Many thanks!

How did you make it work in autofocus mode? My remote trigger simulates a half press on the camera shutter button, i.e. it focuses but does not actually take the picture!

Shutter control works for stills but only if you set the AF to manual

Does anybody have experience mounting T-Motor 15x5 props on the S900. I assumed the motor are the same as S800 but I am must be wrong because mines don't have screw holes to mount the props as on this thread http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?15103-Props-for-S800-EVO Any idea?

zoom? what do you mean, which lens are you using? My main gripe is that you cannot even use autofocus on stills mode, the remote shutter will not take pictures...
