THE first flight test of DJI A2 FC firmware upgrade V2.1

Absolutely, I would love to see posts of people saying that the A2 is working great for them, and with what configuration. Also, it would be very helpful if those who have had problems with it explain exactly what the problem was, the configuration they have as far as MR used, radio, if they...

THE first flight test of DJI A2 FC firmware upgrade V2.1

Bartman, when I went to read Droider's new post (had been posted 12 hours before) I realized that the thread had been closed and I couldn't respond (ask) him anything. Since you had been trying to close that thread, I was surprised that you had closed it no long after his negative test results...

THE first flight test of DJI A2 FC firmware upgrade V2.1

Droider posted his latest testing results of the A2 with the new firmware. He still had loss of control problems with it and he has finally decided, like I did long ago, to ditch the A2. After he posted that info, the thread was closed. Why???? I guess MRF doesn't want any one to say anything...

THE first flight test of DJI A2 FC firmware upgrade V2.1

Thanks for sharing your test results Gerthart. Fortunatelly you didn't crash. I guess we can assume the A2 is still a piece of cr*p ...

THE first flight test of DJI A2 FC firmware upgrade V2.1

Hi Dave, It sucks to hear that. Since I had a fly away with the A2, and have been waiting on comments from guys like you (not many) who are testing the A2 some more. It seems like I'm definitely throwing away the A2 after all...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Looking forward to your results Dave, as well as those from other users. I'm still waiting for the parts to fix my hexa which crashed because of the A2. I also ordered the D-Bus adapter because I don't trust using the A2 as a receiver. I'm not too convinced yet on using the A2 again, but once I...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Hey Andy, you just mentioned something very important: "Certain quirks take time to surface as they are not causing problems in all circumstances." The new A2 firmware just came out. If this forum really wants to be useful, helpful and respectful of its users, they need to give us some time to...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

After my crash and BIG loss, I'm not sure yet I want to use the A2 anymore. If other people are willing to keep risking their equipment as FREE DJI testers, I'd love to hear their results with the new firmware. At least, those tests are a LOT more valuable than anything DJI does. As a matter of...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Why are you two SO eagered to close the thread??? First of all, we don't know if the new firmware solves the reported problems. Second, if it does, it'd be good to leave the thread open so that users can report their findings and/or confirm that it works better. Third, even if the new firmware...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Hey Bart, why are you SO afraid of DJI??????? "something less incendiary?"? The original title was actually the best and reflected what the thread was really about. People whould be aware that the A2 is a piece of cr*p, and that the support from DJI is less than null.

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Sure, they come out and post a f***g list of fixes and specs but they NEVER respond to users' questions and concerns. They should even apologize for all the crashes their systems have caused, and even compensate many or us. I for one have decided NOT to loose any more thousands of dollars being...

DJI A2 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY (New firmware may change my opinion)

Dave, at DJI NOBODY gives a sh*** about customers and how much time and money we have lost because of their cr**py products. I had a fly-away (described on an earlier post on this thread). I even sent them the log from my iOSD, and have NEVER heard from them.

First and hopefully last FLY AWAY with Naza v2

Ed, I contacted the dealer and he told me to contact DJI. I even sent the iOSD log to them. In the past, I have never had a response from them to any questions, and I really don't think this is going to be the exception. I do agree with you that many crashes are caused by user error, and with...

First and hopefully last FLY AWAY with Naza v2

I have been flying RC airplanes since 1983, RC helicopters since 1995, and multirotors for the last 2+ years. I posted about a similar problem I had with the new A2: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?13900-!!!DJI-A2-Stop-dont-buy-one-yet!!!!/page9 DJI problems keep popping up all...

@Electro 2, how long have you had the SuperX? Have you used it on a heavy machine? 8+ Kg? I was reading the thread on it, and seems like a good option!

And there were NO battery problems with the system. This graph shows that the batteries were fine and at the time of the crash were at almost 24V:

Here's another graph which shows that at the time of the crash the system had anywhere between 8 and 10 satellites.
