If I had the time and money I would only fly CP helis, the simplicity of MR's is what draws me to them. A coax-ax with a pusher prop doesn't hold any advantage for UAV AP that I can tell.

Sounds like you need a little D/R on your transmitter. I learned to fly CP helis for about a year before I final figures out and started using dual rates. Makes a World of difference. I even use dual rates on alti mode when doing certain aerial photography flights.

Those 8000 nano techs seem too heavy to have two in parallel. It sounds like your motors are getting hot because your rig is too heavy.

It's true with all helis to an extent, but collective pitch helis don't really have the same issue because of the ability to create negative pitch while maintaining head spead. When you bring your MR down you enter your prop wash as well as lower your Rpms which provide most of your stability...

I charge in parallel using the balance boards from epbuddy.com. Works great and has changed everything in terms of charging practices.

I'm having the arming issue, wont arm for about 2 minutes after powering up. Not a big deal, just annoying. Everything else works. I wish I could turn off the auto take off crap though.
