As above, I recently had a skyjib x4 ti/qr built. After 6 months of research I chose the wookong over the yet to be proven A2. So many bad stories with the A2...

Current regulations in Australia are a joke. Sitting your PPL to commercially fly a UAV come on. If any government is serious about protecting their sky-ways, then adopting appropriate regulations that relate to the industry is a must. Me learning about de-icing carburetor and what happens if...

We have similar in OZ, 400m line of sight. Industry has been talking about instrument rating so flights can be made outside the current regulations.

Gr8 post baja, been following while my skyjib was getting built. Got it last week, I must say the t-motors with the carbon props ...I love it. Some footage I shot in full manual solo, still trying to work out best settings for the 5d. I'm getting around 12 mins flight time with 20% battery...

All seems quiet on the zenmuse front. Just got my x4 build and FPV looks slightly off, work around is to just go into h-free mode and adjust the horizon. Really love this quad, real Hollywood machine hehe. 1st solo flight raw footage...

Has any1 received any further updates re software patch. I have an x4 being built as we speak, just hoping zenmuse works well.

Being new to this industry and currently getting a Skyjib X4 built with zenmuse Z15 5D setup. When you look at the cost of these units you would expect the best build and service. From what im reading none of this is being offered. Whats a good alternative for a a canon 5d.

Planet Oz Sydney Dave, I've had some corro with Aeronavics. They sent me some raw footage of an X4 in flight. The big question would be using the buy once theory, RTF packages $$$$$ or custom built $$$. Its for commercial use with a payload of zenmuse Z15 & 5D.

I'm in the same position, very wise words...Thanks The X4 seems to be the logical choice for me. Now to choose RTF or pay local UAV builder(very good). Has anyone purchased the RTF kits from aeronavics. Sorry not trying to hijack the thread, just jumping in on the same topic. Thanks again
