Well...I've had one motor out in a flat hexa and also lost one in an Y6 while doing a loop. Both could be landed pretty well. Yes an octo is surely better in one motor out situation, but it all also depends of the thrust reserve you have. TP.

So if you take out he altitude feature, do they work normally then? Also if you get the yellow light for ages, try holding the calibration button down while powering up. Worked on mine when calibration was needed. Personally I fly so low often, that altitude based gear feature wont work ...tuomas

The whirling sound from the motors is normal. But an inbalance will really make them scream...TP.

How big work was it to put the BM into it? TP.

I think its a question of a decent insurance. And not flying the batteries too empty. Also the Cineflex heli rather has two engines than just one. TP.

I am flying mine successfully with Tiger 2814 770kv motors, 30A controllers and 13x6,5 APC props. With an Alexmos gimbal and the Blackmagic pocket its just over 5 kg. Battery is a 4s 8000 or 10000. TP.

Ok...the HDMI converter on the GH3 did not want to work...so I replaced it with an old one from the GH2 gimbal-works now! Its not balanced well enough, had to leave the shutter cable out to make it better. Now if it would only stop raining;)

I´m using mine with the same Oly 9-18 lens. What I´ve now found is that I have jello problems ( never with the GH2) and overall I´m disappointed with image sharpness. I´ve tried with different shutter speeds and with / without a 4stop ND. So it seems a lot more difficult camera to use for...

I ´ve flown this WKM a lot with no problems for about 6 months. However, now, after connecting it to PC assistant to check the serial number, it wont lock to satellites anymore. Just blinks three flashes. I updated it now with the 5.22 firmware, and it found the satellites almost instantly. But...
