Thanks guys. Problem was there were a set of power lines halfway down the course so I was constantly flying low to go underneath or high to miss them, Then add all the smoke in and there were a few points where the MR just dissapears. A miss aligned radian was to blame for the horizon drift too...

As we have had no decent flying weathe rin the UK for about 6 months I was lucky on the day this happened. found a few problems after such a long time off but good fun non the less. Enjoy. Lec

Some really nice flying there. how did you find the system? We have toyed with a Teradeck cube but have heard experiences of it that weren't that positive mainly the reconnect time if signal is lost. I was shown a nice bit of kit recently which was 4way diversity with 99km range..a cool £40k tho...

Also remember that when you turn the copter in the air you can only do it 3 times one way or it will unscrew itself from the camera gimbal. make sure you turn it all the way back 'thatwise' (very important) before you take off or the RED might get confused about where it is! glad we can all...

Hi there. we mainly fly a mk based droidworx y6, also have a naza flamewheel setup and a wookong hexa too. yep should defiantly meet up! There is a whole range of gimbals out there that will suit the 550d yoiu just may need to look at the options when it comes to mounting them on the s800 frame. Lec
