MrT, have our legacy working well handheld but haven't attached to aerial yet. We are considering Movi. Did you ever try/succeed legacy aerial. Don't want to waste time trying if Movi is the answer and will keep legacy handheld.

The short answer is that DJI doesn't seem to fly away in Manual. For whatever reason, GPS dropout, Code, Bug, buffer overrun whatever etc. Manual seems to be the most reliable way to save it when things go horribly wrong. Suspect that's probably true for most FCs. Automation is wonderful but...
