    Discharging LiPos while checking voltage

p.s. sadly no storage mode on my charger. That's definitely the next upgrade though

    Discharging LiPos while checking voltage

80% was my target. How come the checker carried on reading 100% and appeared to nuke my battery?

    Discharging LiPos while checking voltage

I think I may have just learned something. I had a lipo at 100% which I needed to discharge for storage. I connected it up to a monitor and also a small charge checker so I could monitor the discharge. What happened was that the status stayed at 100% then the battery died and went ominously...

CAA Information Notice - Future requirement for a safety case assessment

Thanks Ben. It looks like the CAA realised the dog's dinner it had made of the original issue of that document in April (2014/081) and made this amendment. I hadn't seen the July version, hence my confusion looking at the April version.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

I have been super impressed with Resource Group too. Could you advise what I'm likely to have to do on a flight test with the Phantom? Any particular manoeuvres? Also, do they let you refer to the reference cards during the test. (E.g. Emergency procedures?)

    Phantom max operating altitude

You're on my wavelength! By that logic it's about 24000ft which is a bit scary. Is that the kind of t figure people generally put down? There would surely be some performance issues before it got to that altitude wouldn't there?

    Phantom max operating altitude

Thanks for that. I'll assume I'm good to at least 9000AMSL in that case!

    Phantom max operating altitude

Does anyone know if there is a specified maximum operating altitude for the Phantom? (I.e. Relative to sea level, not above the take off point)
