Just wanted to share my first flight with my ARRIS M680-S4 and the FLIR PathfindIR (30 hz). Got 8 min flighttime with the FLIR on a RCTimer 2 axis gimbal. I also got a FLIR LS64 (7.5 hz) which I don't have tried on the gimbal yet. You may see the footage from the ground in the video below.

I can definitely understand why... I just used 8 hours trying to find out how to configure the RC-timer 2-axis board, and I'm no closer to a solution. I'm ordering a Alexmos board today. (I'm more of a plug and play guy!) :)

What gimbal setup are you using for the Sony? I'm looking for a solution to mount my Canon HF100 on my quad, but haven't found anything yet. Your gimbal seems to work quite well! Also I'm looking for a gimbal for my FLIR Pathfinder unit, which I'm going to mount on the quad.

Hi folks! Looking for a brushless gimbal til put my old Sony DCR-PC8 SD dv-cam on, and also my brand new FLIR PathfindIR. They weigh in on aprx 900g together. Ive looked at some of the ARRIS, but they seem to fit only the PathfindIR, not the sony. Maybe I need two separate gimbals? Any views...

I actually did find a more practical solution (for my needs). Channel 5 (two pos switch) for REC start/stop, Channel 6 (the knob) for mode selection, Channel 7 (one pos) for shutter. Then i used the throttle stick for FPV up/down and the rudder as roll, and pan/tilt on the other stick.

Hi, Is there anyone who know how to program the 7C to control the Z15? I've tried and can't find out where I can change channels on the different switches. All that I can change is the 5 & 7ch. Anyone done this before? I see that they are selling s800+z15 packages on eBay with 7C for camera...

Looks as it was the HP indication after all. I manned up and flew away today, and the 5 violet LEDs were gone when I was more than 10 m away. DJI should update the manual, because 1 single-5 rapid violets are definitely to be misunderstood when the manual says 6 continuous violet blinks...

It's -5 deg C today and no wind, so it's quite nice depending on what you compare to ;) Last month we had -30 for some days... Looking forward to March when we get some more daylight.

Well, then the manual need som updating. In my head "6 continuous lights" is not the same as one single, then 5 rapid. But it seems like you are correct. I manned up and was out flying today. The 5 blinks disappeared when I flew more than 10 meters away from my home-point :) Hope this is better...

Are you flying with this LED combination Gerthart? I don't dare before I know what it is. I'll try do move slowly from the HP today. Got pretty calm winds and nice temp here this morning.
