    ESC Bullet Connections

Had the same thing happen, put heat shrink on them, no way they'll come apart then.

    QuadCopter, first try.

Those are still "cheap" nylon, and I'm thinking 10" props may be better suited for those motors?

    QuadCopter, first try.

Look at RCMC ESC's... http://www.rcmanchild.com/ They work fine for me and his service is second to none, I had an intermittent glitch with one and he sent me out a replacement promptly with no questions asked! I have this balancer and since I have no experience with anything else I can say...

    Scratchbuilt Quadrotor

Get back in the garage, you're killing me, and take more pictures! You obviously have the gift of vision and the skills to bring it all together. Some two part epoxy may work for the tube to arm joint? I've amazing results with that stuff.

Group Build 2014, DJI NAZA/F450 Quadcopter!

FWIW, and I'm very new to this with only a few batteries ran through my new build. My SK450 frame has the ball for the front, and I have colored blades on the front (frowned on by a few I've read - ha!) but when it's way out there and I loose my concentration I have no idea which way it's...

Group Build 2014, DJI NAZA/F450 Quadcopter!

I'm having good luck with this charger, it's cheaper and needs no added power supply... http://www.ebay.com/itm/321212803865?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

    Prop balancing?

I balanced mine and could hardly tell the difference but that was cheap Turnigy nylons, only took a little nail polish on the light end to level them out. What really made a difference was swapping to a carbon composite prop from RCMC, these are great for the $$, I can't imagine how nice real...

    Hi from Mississippi, USA

I got my QR1 off Amazon and also picked up spare blades and motors, they're only a few bucks. It's fun to fly and it is really quick in "expert" mode, I don't see flying FPV with it though. This place is a wealth of knowledge, just read, read, read and soak it up, I didn't know an ESC from a...

    Hi from Mississippi, USA

I've had a blast with it, fairly solid little quad. I've replaced a couple of motors and a ton of blades but it's been a fun trainer, get spare parts! When it starts drifting around you can do the accelerometer calibration and it usually does the trick, if not it's bad blades. All of us guys in...

    Hi from Mississippi, USA

Welcome to the addiction! I'm a Mississippi guy too, where are you located? I started out with a Traxxas QR1 and now I am putting the finishing touches on an SK450 framed quad that I hope to fly soon.

    Mississippi newbie

Hey guys! Another new guy checking in. My little bit of RC airtime consists of a losing battle with a Hei Max Axe CP that I never could do anything with so I sold it, and lots of time on the RealFlight simulator that gives you a new plane at the touch of the red button - ha! I have picked up a...
