    DJI Naza sub trim

Do you happens to have a picture of the inside of the NAZA?? About the motor.. After a few flight, I remember a note from another motor company suggest regular oiling of the bearing. So, even my FW450 is only had 6 flights at the time, I lube the bearing. I noticed from the on board video I...

    DJI Naza sub trim

That's a fast drift.. Mine drift a little but never like what you shown in the video. After I re-press the NAZA firmly to the 2-side tape, all it takes was 2 click to trim to somewhat of a hands off hover. Silas

    DJI Naza sub trim

I don't know if having a GPS will provide rock soild holding on the spot accuracy. Some of the more expensive Differential GPS or WAAS receiver claims to have an accuracy of 1.5 meters. The cheaper one resolves to 10 meters or so. And that also depends where you are located, any trees, clouds or...

Just wondering, How did you tilt the NAZA? some kind of shim? Did the shim move? Is this repeatable with a new battery? perfect at takeoff and drift left at end? thanks Silas

    F450/NAZA flipping over on takeoff

There is a clip on the bottom of the motor. Once that is remove, you should be able to pull it apart. I have no idea how to test if the motor are working properly. May be someone here may know. May be someone lives near you have spare and willing to do a swap test? Do you have 4 servos? how...

    F450/NAZA flipping over on takeoff

You mention ... All 4 motors are very erratic in operation. and that you replace a motor...? could the other motors be damaged from the crash? The motor you did not replace, do they turn freely? May be the shock from hitting the driveway damaged the other motors?? s

    DJI Naza sub trim

mine doesn't drift right.. only backward. I also notice that a need some yaw trim. May be the MC was not center well??? If the MC is not true to the case, may need to make an adjustable leveling board to fine tune the system?? s

    DJI Naza sub trim

I have a simular problem with trim. I make sure everything is centered. In no wind, mine will drift to the rear and forward trim is needed for hands free hover. I try moving the battery forward to get it more nose heavy, it doesn't matter, still drift backward. Even after I got it trim, change...

    Props--- what brands work?

The set of Graupners I have, all four requires balancing. They are not too far off, but enough that requires some adjustment. Before I put those on, I was using the stock DJI 10" blades, surprise to see two of them were right on. The other two need some work.

    Please confirm

It flew, kind of.. so far I hover the machine to drain a battery to make sure there is no surprises before flying it around. Looks like I will need to make some adjustment in autopilot gain. Question, do I need to re-Cali the TX or I can make other changes and save the settings without...

    stock DJI F450 max load

I weighted mine, with receiver, stock, but without props, battery and prop nut. Comes to 684g. A set of four Graupners 10x5 comes in at 50g. Assuming 1600g is max, that leaves 866g for battery and camera.

    Props--- what brands work?

Billy, thanks for the measurements. The stock 10" off the kit I just received a few days ago, the hub diameter is 0.620" or 15.748mm. Looks like it is different to the one you have. I also measured the hub diameter of the Graupner, it is 0.700" or 17.78mm. Silas
