Im not 100% sure, but it was during thier break to land, so I presume an engine cut, maybe due to bird strike!

What a sad day for all us aviation enthusiasts. Red 4, Jon Egging lost his life this afternoon after a break to land at Bournemouth airport, UK. Sad, very sad, RIP my friend, you are already missed not just by me, but all those people whose hearts you filled with joy. Ross

Jeff, I'm not sure if its my broadband connection, but it does judder...& its NOT the problem of the camera...Coulour, lighting etc all looks great. Ross

I use a gyro on roll axis, but am considering using a seperate FC board just for the camera! But its cheaper to buy 3 x cheap gyros! Ross

I use 2 x DX7's & 2 X receivers, one for the aircraft & 1 for the camera, works well. Ross

Unlucky Ken, I know how you're feeling :( I always used to say "One more flight then I'm going home"...that was my que to break everything, so now I say, I will fly one more lipo....but I dont & go home instead...with all my models intact ;)

Dave, as much as I agree with what you are doing, I have never agreed to the public doing the authorities job...money or not! The problem is we are paying the authorities to sort this out, so why pay them? If anything goes wrong whilst trying to catch people breaking ACTS...those same people...

I use a gy401 on 1 of my axis & after the initial naff ups got it to work. Ross

There was a thread over at RCG & the designer was saying that overhead can cause range problems, just swivel the whole thing 90 degrees & see what happens. Let me know will you my friend so that I can see what the range is like Ross

Boris, the antenna your using has a blind spot right under it, try an inverted V if possible or swing the antenna through 90 degrees & see what happens. Ross

My advice is to go to a local RC shop, but a RC transmitter 7 or 8 channels & then get yourself a good flight sim, try Phoenix RC & pratice flying RC helis on that sim. It will save you $100,000's & its fun ;) Ross
