Setup for Naza and GPS with an X9303

I have both of mine setup on my JR 11X, one with a Spektrum AR7000 and the other with an AR8000, so its a matter of do you have enough channels and controls on the TX, I'm not familiar with the 9303. I have the flight modes setup on the 3 position F mode switch with a failsafe trigger using a...

    Show your FPV video

Denny, you have nice scenery there right along the waters edge! :pig: Good thing I was sitting down when I looked up the price of a Swit monitor...:hororr: I'd like to have a decent monitor to try flying with, my problem is I have very light sensitive eyes and outside even on a cloudy day I...

    Any updates on Naza GPS????

Got some good stick time with my little F330 FPV quad yesterday after installing and sorting the GPS. It was quite windy at the field, gusts to 15 mph with a fairly steady wind of 8 to 10 mph. The postion hold works amazingly well in the wind especially considering this is only a little 330...

What Tx are you using with your Naza GPS?

You will still need to be able to toggle between manual and GPS mode to do the compass calibration. You can set the endpoints on the switch channel to do that and then change them to just ATTI and GPS but it's a lot easier if you have a 3 position switch or two available especially if you want...

What Tx are you using with your Naza GPS?

I'm using an AR8000 on my F330 FPV quad with GPS and an AR7000 on my F450 FPV quad. If you want RTH to work properly you will need a receiver that sets failsafe on all channels, not just the throttle channel, that eliminates pretty much everything below a 7000 series with data capability. I had...

    Show your FPV video

Lets start a thread for just FPV video, recorded either onboard or from a downlink. I spent a good part of the day out flying some of my FPV quads in very windy conditions, gusts to 15 mph. Mainly I wanted to get some flight time on my recently completed DJI F330 Naza quad with GPS and...

    Photohigher RSGS Skyline Owners thread

My production version Skyline arrived today, haven't done anything with it yet as I was out flying FPV most of the day. I had one of the prototype Skylines and the setup was completely different than the setup program offered now, it was just a direct serial connection into the unit, I wonder if...

    Firm Ware 5.08

There is supposed to be a new version by the end of the weekend that has improvements in the servo setup for gimbal stabilization and support for PPM. Both of my WKM are currently in boxes on the bench so I haven't been keeping up with the firmware updates lately, probably put one of them on my...

    Show us your FPV Multicopter

The latest addition to the FPV fleet, DJI F330 with GPS, Immersion 600 mw VTX with Sony SN777 camera and 3S 5000 battery. Easy 10 minutes in the air with plenty of power left, if I want to push the pack to 80% discharge flight time is close to 15 minutes. Not a lot of real estate on the F330...

    Any updates on Naza GPS????

It's a crowded little frame but it flys very nicely... The VTX hides under here, I've tried all the variations of mountings and positioning of components that I could possibly fit given the size of the frame and this is the only one that works with the GPS. A bigger frame should be no...

    Any updates on Naza GPS????

I preordered mine from UAVproducts.com, I expect that by the end of the month you will likely be able to get one from just about any DJI reseller once the initial rush to get one is over. Yes I was flying the little F330 in the wind, it was getting batted around a bit. I've got a few years of...

    Any updates on Naza GPS????

Mine was delivered yesterday and immediately installed on my F330 FPV quad. The problem I'm having is the GPS doesn't like the video TX, won't get satellite lock with the VTX powered up but gets full lock in less than a minute with it powered off. Problem is the F330 is too small to be able to...

    CineStar 360 vibration issues

A couple things to do, try increasing the P and I settings in the gyro tab and setup different flight modes in your TX with varying degrees of expo. I use three flight modes that vary from 40% down to 10% expo and no more than 75 to 80% travel with the highest expo setting with 100% travel ay...

New version 5.08 and datalink new options and frees upgrades available ....

Not unless you know of something that works through a Canbus interface, that's how DJI connects their modem to the system. Both of the WKM I own are currently in boxes on the bench, as soon as I can free up a frame to put one on I'll install the one that has view and waypoint already and do the...

    Cinestar 6 + YS-X6 flight controller

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I just managed to get a quick test hop on the Cinestar/YS between rain showers. With a WKM on the CS it was basically not flyable with the standard 14 x 4.7 APC slow flyers that work fine when using Mk electronics, with the YS it flys pretty stable using...

    Remote trigger for Sony NEX-5n

I use the GentLED to trigger the shutter, there are other alternatives out there. Problem with the 5N is there aren't that many lenses available for it.I use the 18 - 55 kit lens the most and I also have the 16mm wide angle. I've used the 16 for APV but I think it has almost a GoPro like...

Base station ideas PRO1012 from HobbyWireless

Are those custom made frame plates that someone is selling or did you make those yourself? I'm thinking I should do something like that to my F450 FPV quad. Ken

    First Multirotor Crash

I just looked in the latest version of the manual and it says on page 23 that switching to manual or ATTI mode will disenagage failsafe. I have never been able to get failsafe to disengage without going all the way to manual mode and then switching to ATTI. Unless this is something new in the...

    First Multirotor Crash

Once you put it in failsafe mode you have to switch to manual mode to cancel it, then you can switch to ATTI mode, if you don't go to manual it stays in failsafe. I have ordered parts from Droidworx but I think you'll find the cost of shipping makes it more economical to buy locally. Ken
